Marjory Mair Associates was set up in 2002.

I spent the early years of my working life in the public, private and not for profit sectors, always as part of a team and often leading a team as well.  In the very early days, a distinct lowlight was being given a team as it was part of natural progression even though, honestly, I didn’t have a clue how to manage people. Latterly a distinctive highlight was 8 years as part of a high performing team. 

Fewer than 20% of teams never get to know the joy of high performance and healthy working relationships.  I have no solid evidence for this statistic but I can’t help notice the knowing nods when I share this insight.

I work alongside leaders and team, fostering environments where they are trusted and set free to think creatively, work collaboratively and feel safe to act courageously for themselves, their organisation and their communities.

I trained in coaching skills with The School of Coaching, and over time have added Solutions Focus Coaching and Time to Think approaches.  More recently I’ve trained as a Team Coach with the highly acclaimed Team Coaching Studio after participating in Professor Peter Hawkins Systemic Team Coaching Masterclass at Henley Business School. I am qualified in MBTI Step 1 & 2, Belbin Team Types, Strength Deployment Inventory 2.0 all built on a 1^st class honours degree in Managing Complexity through Systems Thinking and a Diploma in Innovation and Design.
